Nokia 6 should hit the US market and shelves by early July 2017. HMD, the home of Nokia phones has set a new standard in design, user experience and quality with the new Nokia 6. The phone is one of the phones in the family of products that marks the beginning of Nokia’s new Smart Phone generation. The phone was launched six months, ago in China and one month ago in other parts of the world. It should start selling on Amazon soon, at only $229, an unexpectedly low price, or is it not?
The Nokia 6 sits as the top-end model that Nokia is offering in its new mobile phone family that consists of the Nokia 6, a Nokia 5 and Nokia 3. However, compared to other cell phones from other mobile developers, Nokia 6 is just a mid- to a low-end phone. Probably an explanation to its low price.
Nokia 6’s Design
Nokia 6 is a 5.5-inch LCD with 1920×1080 resolutions and a Gorilla Glass. This makes it an impressively bright and colorful phone with a full HD Screen as HMD describes it in its earlier release. Its unibody is made of a single block of a series of aluminum, and the phone is endowed with a smart audio amplifier consisting of dual speakers. The phone is available in Tempered Blue, Silver, Copper and Matte Black colors.
Performance and Connectivity
A Snapdragon 430 and Adreno 505 graphics processors power. As per the press release, this helps strike a balance between performance as well as power consumption. It has an Android Nougat operating system with a network speed of LTE Cat. 4, 150Mbps DL/50Mbps UL and is a Dual SIM. Nokia 6’s RAM is 3GB and has an internal memory of 32 GB that is expandable with a MicroSD card up to 128GB. It has a high battery capacity of about 3000mAh, a 16MP rear camera and it set up to GSM/LTE networks, which excludes Verizon and Sprint as its carriers. It has six sensors and is USB-2.0 enabled to share and receive files.
