Apple’s 2017 Macbook Pro Model

Apple finally released its 13th generation internal MacBook Pro with its latest MacBook models which bear a fourth body redesign. Computer developers are leaning more towards making their laptop designs much thinner, and this is the body redesign that the 2017 MacBook Model, just like last year’s MacBook still leans towards as the design remains trimmed down to 15.5 mm thick and 4.02 pounds. The MacBook Pro model, as usual, comes as a high-end 15-inch version available in standard silver and darker space gray alongside another 13-inch version. Also, the two versions of the new MacBook Pro differ not only in their prices, where the 13-inch version is priced at $1,299 and the 15-inch version at $2,399 but also in their performance capabilities, storage and in the many other factors that distinguish a MacBook from other laptops. The 2017 MacBook edition is a significant incremental upgrade on the MacBook Pro models as opposed to last year’s mere shift. Therefore, its release is exciting news for loyal Apple customers who were not as thrilled with the last year’s model.

What is New?

The iMac has received major updates making it have increased graphics performance, faster CPU performance, Thunderbolt 3, brighter retinal display supporting a broad range of colors as never before. Unlike the previous model, that boasted of being armed with Skylakes sixth-generation processors, the new MacBook Pro model is fitted with Kaby Lake processors, Intel’s seventh generation processor. With this new processor, the 15-inch high-end version runs on 3.1GHz Core i7 and 4.1GHz Turbo Boost and 3.5GHz Core i7 with 4.0 Turbo Boost for the 13-inch.

Apple has also improved the storage performance for the MacBook Pro model making the Solid State Drive (SDD) support twice the memory backed up by the 2016 model, operating at a 2,133MHZ frequency and is 50% faster. With the new MacBook processors, MacBook supports 4K media streaming, video editing and creation due to their integrated graphics. Apple products claim a 10-hour battery life, but the new Kaby Lake processor should help the MacBook Pro to have an increased battery life. The MacBook Pro model retains the MacBook Pro line Touch Bar and physical Touch ID and comes with the Retina display of 500-nit.
